Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher since 2007
With the distractions and stresses of daily life, it's so easy to "live a short distance" from our own bodies. My teachings focus on embodying mindfulness and how to take the benefits we receive from our yoga and meditation practice and bring it to our daily lives.
I design my retreats to inspire people with practical tools of mindfulness and yoga, to bring more compassion, ease and a high quality of self-care into the body and mind.
I've been inspired by my studies with a variety of teachers including Zindel Segal, David Swenson, Kino MacGregor, Mark Darby, Petri Räisänen, Sharon Salzburg, Rick Hanson, S.N. Goenka, as well as my own 20 plus years of experience of practicing Insight Meditation, Yoga and Zen meditation.
I received my first yoga teacher training certification in 2007 and became a certified Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) teacher in 2017. I have been teaching yoga, mindfulness workshops, and weekend retreats since 2007.
